What a day it was at the 7th Annual Ride or Walk for a Better Community! As proud participants, we at Seed and Bean want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Venice Yacht Club Charitable Foundation (VYCCF) and everyone involved for making this event a shining example of community spirit, even in the face of rain and flooding.
About 75 amazing individuals joined us for the 6-Mile Ride and 1-Mile Walk, and it was heartwarming to see another 100 people gather for the post-ride breakfast.
We’re in awe of the generosity that led to raising an incredible $105,665.00. These funds will make a significant difference in supporting the VYCCF’s mission and the many charities that benefit from their work in our area.
A special shoutout to the recipients of the four $5,000.00 grants: Children First, South Coast Reef Rovers, Our Mothers House, and Venice High School Junior Marine ROTC. Your efforts inspire us all.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to start planning for the 8th Annual Ride or Walk for a Better Community on February 16th, 2025. Seed and Bean encourages you to keep this momentum going, stay active, and continue to support the causes that make our community a better place for everyone.
